The Mountainside Parent And Community Team (MPACT) is a nonprofit parent-teacher organization (PTO) whose mission is to support and advocate for MHS students and staff through school and community programs and activities that enrich students’ high school experience.

WHY MPACT
Our intent with Mountainside High School was to create a new brand of parent organization and with it, hopefully, a new legacy. Community is a key word for all of us who have been working both in the forefront and behind the scenes for many months now. We see community as all inclusive. We are stepping away from the more traditional identity of being seen as a PTO/PTC or a Booster Club. We are so much more than that!
We elected to call our ourselves MPACT, Mountainside Parent And Community Team. The name brings a dual meaning. PACT - the promise and commitment we are making to the school and its students, and the iMPACT we want to have on them and bring to our community.
We encourage you to join the team in striving to fulfill our mission to Mountainside High School and its students.
